PRET A PORTER PARIS is the window for a Fashion that moves forward and sets its tone freely. An ideal context for showing brands which react and Fashion designers who innovate.

As a place for free expression and meeting people, PRET A PORTER PARIS is the broadest illustration of women’s wardrobes. A trade fair for finding the essential and best for Fall-Winter 2011-2012.

A space that reveals the season’s many facets and strong appeal : from basics to the most avant-garde. PRET A PORTER PARIS is, more than ever, at the heart of Fashion.

Its New! Only Fashion!
Lightness, gracefulness, timelessness… The new PRET A PORTER PARIS ad campaign reinterprets feminine codes.

An esthetic reflecting the signs of the times in a Parisian decor of parquet floor, molding and white walls… a true visual experience.

Conceived by the Market Place agency, this campaign plays with perspectives and illustrates the shifted viewpoint of PRET A PORTER PARIS.

This desire to represent fashion in movement while shaking up conventions results in a single phrase: Only Fashion !

Maria Luisa, Fashion Editor of Pret A Porter Paris
As a legendary buyer with infallible flair and taste, Maria Luisa has discovered many designers : Manolo Blahnik, John Galliano, Véronique Branquinho, Bernhard Willhelm … Maris Luisa incarnates the best of what is inherent in fashion. She is Fashion Editor of PRET A PORTER PARIS and, in this context, is the invited guest for Wardrobe of … at ATMOSPHERE’S. She will propose a novel selection of designers.

A complementary micro-site to the company’s main web presence, makes it a simple four-step process to select printer model, ink formulation, application type and specific requirements, such as levels of fire retardance.

The idea of producing a dedicated site for print companies wanting to select textile products came about because of the complexities faced by many display producers who were confused about which fabrics could be used with their existing engines. Berger’s vast and comprehensive catalogue of materials covers all ink types, including dye sublimation, solvent-based, UV-curable, latex and aqueous-based but never before has there been such a simple method of matching media to machine.

CMYUK Digital’s appointment by Berger immediately saw a rapid uptake in orders for the German manufacturer’s high quality range of textiles, made available from a leading distributor for the first time in the UK. However, many users of new and older machines technologies quickly proved that they needed a quick and easy way to determine which fabric could be used with their existing technologies for different applications.

Björn Borg is forming a new subsidiary in January 2011 to produce fashionable athletic and functional wear together with its Dutch distributor. The creation of a separate operation based in the Netherlands is another element in Björn Borg’s strategy to focus on its core business, underwear, based in Stockholm.

The new company, Björn Borg Sport, is founded on Björn Borg’s clothing concept in the Netherlands, with established operations and an extensive experience from successfully managing the licensed womenswear company for about ten years in Holland. The collections, both men’s and women’s, will primarily include sports fashion and functional sports wear. The products will be sold to distributors in Björn Borg’s current markets, with an initial focus on larger markets.

“To further concentrate on being a world leader in underwear, we have decided to streamline our Stockholm operations and manage Bjo¨rn Borg’s apparel operations in a separate company in the Netherlands. We do this with our Dutch distributor, which has proven successful in the development of a growing apparel Sourcing business. This new initiative will create better opportunities for our clothing business to grow and allow us to more clearly emphasize our main product, underwear, in the rest of organization,” says President Arthur Engel.

The Black Label Collection’s photo shooting was the most expensive lingerie shootings ever and a sneak peek of the new Collection with a global promotional trailer can be seen at website.

Baci Lingerie invested $ 20,000,000 Dollars to redefine what Affordable Luxury truly means. Baci Lingerie’s dedicated and experienced design teams from around the world worked closely together for many years to deliver what will be an entirely new category of sexy lingerie and will change the way the world views lingerie forever.

“As the main sponsor of the Salon de la Lingerie show we felt that this is the perfect platform for us to launch our Black Label Collection and display it to the world”, comments Baci Lingerie’s COO, Robert Rosen.

“There is no better venue to introduce our revolutionary new collection than at the biggest lingerie show in the world where all the top companies and brands will be. Our second collection had a total budget of $ 20,000,000 and will include over 500 new styles of beautifully and sophisticatedly designed lingerie. The Black Label collection will have a high end lingerie styled theme, similar to European chic style, for 95% lower prices than other brands such as La Perla and Agent Provocateur. We designed the Black Label Collection to create an entirely new category of lingerie. This new category of extremely high end designed lingerie for extremely low price will definitely revolutionize the industry.”

New exhibitor, ChoCo’a, will showcase its incredible Lady Gaga-esque edible outfits on the runway at The Bride Show Abu Dhabi. Models will storm the catwalk wearing a wedding cake hat, a chocolate dress, a Hermes Birkin handbag cake and a leather dress embellished with brightly coloured macaroons. One model will be covered in traditional henna designs stenciled in chocolate rather than conventional dye.

The fashion show is the latest creative craze that ChoCo’a, a family-owned manufacturer and retailer of unique chocolate products and confectionery, brings to the UAE market. The chocolate artisans unveiled earlier this week their Spring/Summer 2011 collection of chocolates which takes its inspiration from the fashion colour pallet reigning over the runways this year; citrus yellow, lime green and orange.

Iconix Brand Group Inc unveiled its spring 2011 multi-media advertising and marketing campaign featuring actress Vanessa Hudgens for its junior brand, Candie’s. Vanessa Hudgens is an award-winning actress and recording artist known for her starring role in the High School Musical movie series. Hudgens is following the highly successful Candie’s campaigns with superstar Britney Spears. Candie’s is sold exclusively at Kohl’s Department Stores nationwide and Kohls.com.

“Ever since I saw Fergie do the ads for Candie’s, I fell in love. It’s such an honor to be a Candie’s girl,” commented Vanessa Hudgens. She added, “We had a blast shooting the campaign, one of my favorite sets was using the diner countertop as a runway, it’s definitely not every day I get to do that.”

The campaign was shot at the Pink Motel in Sun Valley, CA by fashion photographer Tony Duran. In classic Candie’s style, Hudgens poses playfully in the motel’s diner dancing on the counter, outside with a neon sign holding balloons and in one of the motel’s rooms having a pillow fight. The marketing campaign was created by the Iconix in-house marketing team.

Dari Marder, chief marketing officer, Iconix Brand Group, stated, “Candie’s enjoyed a fantastic partnership with Britney Spears these past two years and for 2011, we proudly introduce our newest Candie’s girl, Vanessa Hudgens, ushered in by none other than Britney herself. The campaign creative was inspired by Twitter with Vanessa offering fans behind the scenes-like photos and sound bites about each shot.”

It is a woman from the future who inspired Eric Tibusch for his collection Couture Spring Summer 2011: a travel to the past to better understand the humanity taking possession of the features of each culture. Antique Greece, Africa, China, Amazonia, Europe and mostly France….are the countries whose cultures this woman robot explores, extrapolates the strong elements which get transformed in dress with amazing details, signature of the creativity of the couturier.

Over size bolero, fluted sleeves and maxi sleeves, fishing net, mirror details, tutu…are eye blinks to all those cultures.

Solstiss laces are mixed to precious linen organza, devored linen is intermingled to linen guipure; corsets in zebra hide skirt feathers of Amazon birds and Chinese embroderies of long ago…

Eric Tibusch Paris makes art parade on the catwalk thanks to the paintings of the artist/model « Alexandra Mas » cut, sawn and transformed in silouhettes with a strong effet : it is the « Contemporary Art-to-Wear », signature of the Maison.

The 32 creations are followed by the Bride, that is naked by the couturier…

The jewels that complete the silhouettes are part of the new collection Petrol by Motion Watches, Swiss Made.
